I thought I’d better give you an update on what’s been going on lately.
- Huge speedup in 100% view and loupe (control+left click) display.
- Add selection of built-in colourspace for display and histogram in preferences
- Changed curve histogram to show curve input values
- Added indication of current pixel in curve histogram
- Added indication of current pixel RGB values in histogram
- Better quality in 100% navigator widget
- Fixed cropping in navigator widget, if image was rotated
- Fix gamma on Prophoto and Adobe RGB compatible, on non SSE2 capable platforms
- Moved “Load 8 bit images” and “Show Filenames” to menu bar instead of inside preferences
- Don’t re-open image, if the selected image was the same as the currently loaded image
- Scale height of curve histogram to the third largest entry
- Minor fixes
Histograms have been updated to be a lot more usable
Camera support
- Added Pentax K-5 loading and colour profile
- Added Pentax K-r load and colour profile support
- Added Nikon D3100 load support and colour profile (WB incorrect though)
- Added Nikon D7000 load support and colour profile (WB incorrect though)
- Added Nikon Coolpix P7000 colour profile (WB incorrect though)
- Added Canon G12 colour profile
- Added Canon Powershot S95 colour profile
- Added Panasonic GH-2 profile, please upload images for us to support loading
Other than the changes above, we still have some major new features left to introduce, but we will bring them up in separate articles.

Great to see such a progress! Absolutely love the speed of Rawstudio. Is this app works on 16bits images?
Are you planing such tools as autolevels?
Yes, we operate on 16 bit (or float) image data.
We a autolevels-like function in our curve tool, not sure it works at the moment thou.
I can’t get a picture from a Canon G12 RAW file….
What version of Rawstudio are you using? If it is v2.0, please send in a sample file. Our own samples load fine.
