Sony A450, NEX-3 and NEX-5 support

We have now added support for new Sony cameras, the new mirrorless cameras: NEX-3 and NEX-5 and also for their more ordinary cameras, the Sony DSLR A450. We have full load support of these, and colour profiles for them.

Other than that, we have mainly been polishing up for release, adding better support for DNG metadata, better Canon lens recognition, fixing a few bugs to some specific cameras.

   How far away are you, in terms of work/tasks/etc, before the new release (2.0) is possible? What release date do you expect?

     Well, personally, I’m just idling before the release.

     I don’t think there are any major issues left – the upgrade from the 1.2 is just so huge, that here is no reason NOT to ship this. Of course we have more features we’d like to add, but I think we are at a place now where we can draw a line in the sand and finish up and ship what we have.

     The last month has ironed out some issues, that would have been annoying if they had been released, but on the other hand only one was a serious bug.

     Documentation, translation and stuff like that is also lagging, but pretty much a non-issue for a beta-release IMO.
