[Rawstudio-users] save new raws, or interaction with F-Spot

Hi d#,

You're probably just confusing the way RawStudio works with your idea of
convenience. The advantage of shooting raw is the fact that you are able
to edit the unaltered data as they are captured by your camera. What you
import is in fact comparable to a classic analogue negative which you
would not like to be altered.

Any rawconverter should keep that in mind and while you can see your
alterations to a photo within RawStudio these alterations are not applied
to your original file but just stored as an alterationfile which will be
used if you export or save the image in a different format. e.g. *.jpg.

So by shooting raw you will never be able to see alterations made to a raw
file other than in the converter (RawStudio)itself or after saving the
image to a new fileformat.
