Well, this is a known problem. It's caused by the curve. The curve
window is designed to adjust it's size to 1:1. So what happens is, that
when you select crop, you put a bit more in the toolbox and it requires
scroller. The scrollbar takes up a bit more room and the curve window
shrinks a bit in width and after in height. Now there is enough room and
the scrollbar is removed...and over and over again...
Maybe we should try catching a signal when the scrollbar is activated
and resize the toolbox...

The state of the window is saved, just press F11 again and you will get
back to normal mode.
I did that. Sometimes pressing F11 again don't let me back to normal mode...

After using straighten, you can use it again and again to finetune your
horizont or whatever...
ok, I see. Perhaps I can break out of habit dealing with sliders ;-)
